The Boynton Lions Club of Ringgold prepared 729 pairs of glasses and 17 loose lenses donated by area residents for shipment to the Georgia Lions Lighthouse which assists in providing those to needy in countries around the world.
Eyeglasses may be donated at the Catoosa County Library, Boynton United Methodist Church and Walter Jackson Chevrolet.
The club, marking its 70th Anniversary, meets on the Second Tuesday of each month at Boynton United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 4246 Boynton Dr. in Ringgold at 6:30 p.m. New members and interested guests are welcome. Like Boynton Lions Club of Ringgold on Facebook.
