Cool girl alert! Dua Lipa cut a casual figure while out and about in Soho, New York City and served a street style moment (as she does) that has us thinking that '90s fashion is truly here to stay. After all, Bella Hadid just wore a '90s-inspired outfit in Milan and Kourtney Kardashian cut her hair in the same style that Jennifer Aniston rocked in Friends.
Sure, Dua Lipa loves a glammed-up moment — the singer did Paris decked out in Saint Laurent, and hit the streets of NYC in $3050 Balenciaga pantaboots. She even knows how to rock a long denim skirt. But Dua, who is currently rumored to be dating former The Daily Show host Trevor Noah, is the definition of 'get you a girl who can do both."
Dua was photographed getting out of a car in a greyscale ensemble that was equal parts comfortable and stylish. Her base layer was a black scoop neck top and a pair of loose, dark grey jeans secured at the waist with a black leather belt. Dua reached for a cropped, micro-mini cardigan to layer over her cotton top and accessorized with black leather shoes, a leather bag, and thin, '90s-style rectangular sunglasses. The singer wore her long hair down and covered by a backwards black baseball cap for that extra dose of cool.
Wide leg jeans have been the moment for a while now (and TikTok's war on skinny jeans really solidified that) but these jeans are like, WIDE wide — and we're kind of living for them. They're not your average '90s mom jeans. The pair Dua rocked is roomy from the hip to the ankle, in the same way that one of '90s fashion's most memorable pieces of clothing were.

She agreed, but only on the condition we do a photoshoot to prove to my future self how stupid I looked. Look who's laughing now, mom," Kornfeld wrote.
