We had several days of dry weather this week, but this will give way to a couple of days of wet weather.  We are watching two areas of rain that are slowly converging on the Rochester area.  Showers located in Mid-Atlantic states is moving north through Pennsylvania and the a second line of showers in the Upper Great Lakes are slowly moving closer to Western New York.  As result, the probability of rain will increase starting Sunday with rain off and on into Monday and Tuesday.

Tonight look for increasing clouds, but it will remain dry for now.  We expect it will be very mild night for September with temperature only falling into the low to mid 60s.  Sunday you can expect light showers developing around late morning.  This light rain will be off and on into the afternoon.  The high temperature, before the rain arrives, will be in the middle 70s.  Monday will produce more showers with a greater chance of a few downpours and possible a thunderstorm.  The high temperature will again reach the low to middle 70s.

Tuesday the frequency of the showers will be diminishing with maybe a few breaks of sunshine.  The temperature is expected still reach the lower 70s.  As the low pressure slowly moves away from Rochester, the drier weather will return.   Wednesday, Thursday and Friday should bring more sunshine and comfortable temperatures.
