Outdoor filming for the second season of And Just Like That… has officially begun with Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis photographed on set in New York City. It’s not a Sex and the City spin-off without some incredible nods to cult style (example: every Fendi baguette bag imaginable) and our first look of the new episodes does not disappoint.

The official Instagram account to the series costume department @andjustlikethatcostumes shared a closer look at Carrie Bradshaw’s outfit details which included boho-esque Dior heels, a silver Fendi anklet and a cult JW Anderson pigeon purse. Die hard SATC fans would recall that the writer and her late husband Mr. Big had an affinity for birds (remember that first fateful wedding?) so it’s clear he remains a big theme for the upcoming season.

The denim jumpsuit is an item from Kate McGuire’s @convertedcloset, a 1960s United States Air Force K-2B flight suit, which the designer purchased from eBay and repaired herself. We love a sustainability moment.

Davis’ character Charlotte can also rock a jumpsuit, captured last week wearing a khaki short-sleeved iteration with sneakers and square frame sunglasses.

The HBO Max series ended last season with Carrie travelling to Paris to spread her husband’s ashes. She rekindled her relationship with Samantha (althought we don’t expect she’ll make an on-screen cameo at all). Charlotte continued to explore Judaism and Miranda, played by Cynthia Nixon, left her husband Steve to pursue a new love interest.

Luckily this seems to be the first of many sightings from on set. Unluckily, we will have to wait until mid next year when the second season is expected to release.
