She's always been the epitome of glamour. 

And Sophia Loren looked better than ever as she attended her restaurant opening in Milan on Monday just weeks after her 88th birthday. 

The actress dazzled in a chic white trouser suit to launch the latest of her eponymous eateries in Italy.

The Sunflower star added to the look by donning a white satin blouse and was dripping in diamonds on her ornate necklace and earrings. 

She completed the look with a pair of tinted pink sunglasses and styled her chestnut locks in loose waves. 

While she may be in her 80s, Sophia previously revealed that she feels decades younger.

The  icon and living legend, spoke to AARP THE MAGAZINE for the December 2020/January 2021 issue to pass on some wisdom she's gathered over the course of her life.

Sophia said: 'Sometimes when I say I'm 86, I don't believe it. I feel 20.'

The movie legend, who was born September 20, 1934 in the Clinica Regina Margherita in Rome, Italy, revealed six life lessons she lives by to the magazine.

Firstly, Sophia said she always cheers herself on, adding that she feels secure in who she is.

Next up, the Two Women star said make sure to talk and stay in touch with family.

The third lesson she has acquired is that she tries to savor every moment, even the little ones like enjoying chocolate.

Another lesson is to avoid negative thinking: 'If you are healthy and doing something you enjoy, then you cannot think,"God, tomorrow I'm going to die!"'

Sophia enjoys watching movies, working and going to church.

Number five you have to age naturally, as she said: 'Why change your body and be somebody else if you are happy inside? I never thought of that - never. I like what I have. I like me!'

And lastly, you must accept things as they are: 'I was very sad when my husband died, because you can never get over this kind of feeling.'

She added: 'Never. Each time you think about it, there's a moment of the loneliness, which is very strong, but that's life.'
